…is my motivation to exercise lately. After the race I’ve run twice, in three weeks. That’s it, no P90X, no trips to the gym we just rejoined 2 weeks ago, nada. In the morning I have great intentions of coming home and working out. But, when I get home it’s the last thing I want to do. I’m blaming it on the ridiculously cold weather we are having right now and my to do lists that increase by the minute. When I get home, all I want to do is put on my pajamas and snuggle on the couch with my pups and hot chocolate.
What I haven’t lost, is my motivation to bake. I’ve been on a mission to make a different type of cookie every day. Which probably isn’t the best thing to substitute working out with. But, it’s Christmas and that’s what you’re supposed to do!
So, I’ve decided to chalk this up as a loss until the new year. If I make it to the gym then I’ll pat myself on the back and eat an extra cookie. If not, I’ll continue to drink hot chocolate, snuggle under a soft blanket, read a good book and enjoy the lifetime movies (with lots of cookies of course). After all, it’s only the most wonderful time of the year for a few more weeks. I have the rest of the year to work it off, right?
