What a wonderful Easter holiday! We started our day out with church at 8:30. The mass was packed, I think we grabbed the last two open seats (and we were 20 minutes early). I loved mass and the message delivered. It was exactly what I needed to hear yesterday. After church we headed to my parents to celebrate Easter with family and delicious food. Of course, we brought the puppers with us. It was a perfect day. I made four recipes (pic below) and they all were delicious. As soon as I post the recipes on Simply Made with Love, I'll link them. One of my favorite parts of the day-besides ... read more

I’m Free
For the next 10 days that is. Today starts my spring break. I'm ready for a break from work! I have three to do lists which include lots and lots of spring cleaning. I have a lot planned and I don't know if I will get it all done. But what I do know is that I don't have to hear Mrs. Herring for the next 10 days. Hallelujah! ... read more
Can you relate?
Lately, I feel like a hamster. You know- the one in it's wheel running in circles while people watch for entertainment-running into walls-needing to get picked up, turned around and then continue to run like crazy in the other direction. Yep, that's me. I've definitely been a slacker when it comes to blogging lately. Most of the time my posts come from a laundry list of ideas that I have written on my calendar or about something that happened that I just had to share ASAP. But, no matter how much I try to plan, lately I've come up empty. I've lost my ... read more
I Splurged
Last week I decided I needed new sandals. I've been searching at all the stores around my house and have had absolutely zero luck. I don't have any time with my insane schedule this month to make it downtown to the nice malls that usually have better shoe departments. So, I did some online shopping. I went straight to Nordstrom- one of my favorite stores. The closest Nordstrom is about a half hour away. I usually try to get there once a month but have only been once this YEAR. I’ve definitely been off my fashion A game lately! Back to the ... read more
Big Day
What a day! I've been running a mile a minute since the second I woke up. I can't tell you the date or the what I've eaten today or how I got from here to there. But, it was all totally worth it! Two very important events took place today. One event was planned and one was the best surprise. It's definitely days like today that make me appreciate the little things in life and the people in my life, who I love so much. 1. Bre's Bridal Shower 2. Candace had baby Callie Anne I can't think of two more important events to end my weekend. ... read more
April Organizing Challenge
Spring has sprung around here-woo hoo. With spring, comes spring cleaning-which I'm totally slacking on. I can't find the time, energy or motivation to get cleaning. But, we've been in our house for a year now and there are some things that have to go. While blog surfing yesterday, I came across I heart organizing. And...I heart this blog. This is exactly the motivation I need to get my house clean. So, I decided to join I Heart Organizing for a 30 day purging/cleaning/organizing challenge. Here is the schedule for the month long ... read more
