It amazes me how Nicholas Sparks is able to pull you in from the first page. Even though I knew how things would end up, there were elements of the story that I never expected. It was a story of hope, sacrifice and acceptance. One that makes you feel like you are right there watching it all unfold. It will have you in tears and make you smile.
Pulled me in from the first page, again. A beautiful love story with lots of twists and turns along the way. A story that questions fate, destiny and luck. I loved how the characters were introduced in this book and how Nicholas Sparks wrote each chapter from a different characters view point. He has a fascinating way of making the characters come alive. It was intense and pulled me in every step of the way leading up to a dramatic ending.
I love Chasing Harry Winston and was looking forward to reading this Lauren Weisburger book. It was a fun book to read. About a women whose husband experiences new found fame and how they struggle to adjust to the Hollywood lifestyle. The book was funny and kept me on my toes. I sympathized with the main character and felt like I was watching a friends relationship unravel. I didn’t know exactly how it would end and wanted to keep reading to find out. Definitely a light read, but a perfect book for the beach!
I’ve been a fan of all of Tori Spellings books and this one didn’t disappoint. Although it wasn’t my favorite, I thoroughly enjoyed it. There are so many times throughout the book when I felt like I was reading about my life. Minus the fame, guncles, and millions of course. But, Tori and I have lots in common. Our type A want to control and fix everything personalities, the need to make every event perfect, putting everyone else first and the lengths we go to do so. This was a light read that I couldn’t put down.0 Did you like this post?
