It’s easy to lose sight of the positive when negative things happen. It’s easy to lose sight of what is right there in front of you when you’re so focused on the end result. I think we can all relate to this. Whether it’s in your personal life or your professional life. It’s natural to look ahead. It’s natural to set goals and work towards them. But, I (and maybe you too) spend too much time looking toward the future… not enough time appreciating the present. I saw this quote on a calendar in the bathroom at work. I couldn’t get it out of my head. It’s exactly what I needed to read that particular morning. Maybe, it’s exactly what you need to read today. The day I read this, my thoughts were consumed with something that is out of my control. Something that has to do with the future. Now, each time my head goes towards those thoughts, which all relate to the one goal…I remind myself of this quote. I need to look at all that I have and be content with my life now, in the present.0 Did you like this post?
