Ten years ago I was sitting in one of my first college math classes. Waiting for the teacher to enter the room and start class. He was late and everyone was debating on whether to walk out or not. When he finally did enter, he told us to go home. He told us all classes on USF campus were cancelled for the day. There was an attack in NY. That was it. I immediately called my parents on the way to my car and heard about the attack. I drove back to my campus lodge apartment and spend the remainder of the day watching the news, crying my eyes out. I will never forget that day and will never forget those who lost their lives. I will never forget the images on the TV and the stories that were shared. I will never forget the fear, the courage, and the strength I witnessed. America changed on that day. It is a day I will never forget. God Bless America.0 Did you like this post?
