I have yet to meet a Nicholas Sparks book I didn’t like. I always have one ready when I go on a trip and very much look forward to reading it. I was eager to read this book and immediately started it when I was waiting in the airport last Saturday. At first, I thought this would be a typical love story like Sparks usually provides. And don’t get me wrong, there is a love story, but it’s far from ordinary. The book was about hope and starting over. Being willing to face your fears for a better life and happiness. While also accepting the past, let go of it and moving on. Even though the events were predictable, the details of the storyline were not. This book really unfolded about half way through and I didn’t want to put it down. It was intense and very well written. Definitely 5 stars in my book.
Heaven is for Real
I needed to read this book. I needed to read it at the time I read it. I needed to put some hope back in my heart and to be at peace. That is exactly what this book provided for me. I’d be lying if I said I didn’t cry while reading this book. There were some parts of it that hit so close to home. I felt like I was reading about me and my experience. It made me feel that I wasn’t alone. It reassured me that there is a greater plan and to trust God with that plan.0 Did you like this post?
