Goodbye 2011, Hello 2012!
I hope you all had a wonderful New Year’s Eve and start of 2012. We rang in the new year with great friends and one of the best parties we’ve thrown thus far! I can’t think of a better or more entertaining start to the year.
Oh, 2012…do I have high hopes for you! I love the fresh start of a new year. A new year is a clean slate. It’s up to you to fill it with what you want.
I love thinking of things I want to accomplish and how I’m going to make it happen. I’m not one for setting resolutions. I’ve never been good with keeping them. So, after years of failed resolutions, I started setting goals last year. This year, I’m going to continue with the same.
Here are my goals for 2012.
*Continue making monthly goals and posting them on the blog, that way I’m held accountable.
*Continue to focus on a monthly budget and be more aware of my spending.
*Become more involved with our church.
*Go on at least 2 date nights a month. One planned by me and the other planned my hubs.
*Read 12 books in 2012.
*Work to expand my side businesses so that I can have more of a profit.
*Re-organize everything. House, computer files, office files, food pantry, cleaning supplies, you name it!
*Work to cross things off my 101 in 1001 list.
*Hand make most gifts that I give this year.
*Start a house cleaning regimen. I’ve seen a lot of good ideas on Pinterest, I want to find one for me.
Other goals…love hard, laugh a lot, eat healthy, cook, spend time with friends and family, give thanks, say prayers, work hard, and just enjoy life!
