Travis Parker has everything a man could want: a good job, loyal friends, even a waterfront home in small-town North Carolina. In full pursuit of the good life – boating, swimming , and regular barbecues with his good-natured buddies — he holds the vague conviction that a serious relationship with a woman would only cramp his style. That is, until Gabby Holland moves in next door.
One of my goals for the year is to read one book a month in 2012. I started out the year of reading will one of my favorite authors, Nicholas Sparks. The book I decided on was The Choice. It was the first book I read on my Ipad, which I was unsure about. I thought I would miss flipping through pages of a book, but I didn’t. I’ve since bought a few more books and found out how to check them out from the library. Now, onto the book…
Here’s the book description from Amazon:
In true Nicholas Sparks fashion, this was a book that I couldn’t put down and finished in days. The book starts off like most of Sparks books, with a love story. A bit of the same old story but still, one I couldn’t stop reading. About 3/4 away though, the book changed and took a turn that I didn’t see coming. Sparks really gets you thinking about the choices you make and may someday have to make. Overall, another well written, romantic love story. Though, not my favorite book by Sparks, I definitely think it’s a book worth reading.
If you decide to read this book, you’ll definitely want to have a box of tissues handy!0 Did you like this post?
