Makeup and I have a love and hate relationship. I’m not that girl that has to have makeup on before I leave the house, especially if I’m just going to the grocery store. When I go out-out, I attempt to find different and cute ways to do my makeup. But it usually takes me long enough to find something cute to wear…let alone figure out how to do my makeup different. I will say I always have intentions of looking put together every time I leave the house, it just doesn’t happen. I am interested in makeup, I just am missing the creative talent behind it. I can spend hours in Sephora or Ulta ooohhing and aweing over everything they have. But, no matter how many tutorials I pin with cute makeup looks, I just can’t make it happen on my own.
I usually just end up sticking to my 5 staple items.
1. Powder 2. Lip Gloss 3. Mascara, 4. Blush 5. Eyeshadow
With that being all that I wear on a day to day basis, I’ve spent a lot of time finding the products that are just right for me. If you’re looking for any new products to try, I definitely recommend these.

Hello Flawless! by Benefit
I put this on with a kabuki brush (not the brush it comes with). It takes a minute and provides all day coverage.
Stila Major Major Mascara
This is a recent find for me. I’ve been using Bad Gal which I really liked, but I love this one. All you need is one coat for big bold lashes.
Lancome Lip Gloss
I’ve been using this gloss for years. Lasts a long time…love it.
Naked Pallet Eye Shadow
Totally worth the money. I usually just use a neutral on my lid. If I have extra time, I’ll add depth to the crease.
Bare Minerals Blush
It’s light but lasts all day.

Hey Leah! I know I have said it before but I am a MAC advocate. I love to see what other people use though. My MAC paint-pot in 'painterly' is a must-have for me! It conceals everything 🙂
I've been hearing about that Hello Flawless foundation. I'm considering trying it out! I may drag the hubby to Sephora this weekend! lol.
