What I’m Loving
Happy Wednesday! It's officially day three of being a stay at home mommy. D has been back to work since Monday and I'm happy to report that things are going smooth. Since there is so much that I'm loving lately, I decided to link up with Jamie for What I'm Loving Wednesday. I'M LOVING AG's newborn pictures. I'm actually obsessed with them and can't begin to decide on which ones I'm putting in the house. Here is one of my favorites... I'M LOVING that football kicks off this week! USF games start this Saturday, but we will be cheering on from home because we have family in town. ... read more
The Best Laid Plans
So, you find out you're pregnant and after the excitement wears off, the oh shit- I'm going to have a baby kicks in. For me that feeling didn't kick in until the final trimester. I spent the other two trimesters worried and just praying that everything with this pregnancy will be okay. At that 7 month mark, I started getting worried that I wasn't doing enough to prepare for the baby, preparing to be a mom. I hadn't read any books, just kept up with day by day pregnancy apps. If you really knew me…
I've seen this post around the blog world for the past few weeks and have enjoyed reading all the posts. I decided to save it for when the baby came. If you really knew me, you'd know that... I'm a planner. I plan out everything from blog posts to weekly meals to sometimes conversations that I'm dreading having. Totally type A. Which can lead to easily getting disappointed and stressed when things don't go the way I had planned, but this is something that I've greatly improved on over the past few years.
