Dear 2013, Welcome. You’re already off to a good start. And you’re an even more special year because I’ll turn 30 towards the end of you. I look forward to making the last year of my 20’s one of my best yet. It’s the year of ME.
Dear AG, Baby girl, boy are you growing up right before my eyes. You my dear, are a WILD one. You are rolling out of everything, trying to pull yourself up out of our carseat, trying to roll over all night in your crib and love rolling onto your belly during playtime. It’s been so much fun to lay on the floor and really play with you. You also started sitting up for short periods of time on your own this week. I love watching you grow.
Dear P90X, We’ve started our relationship back up and I’m not sure how I feel about you. I’m a few days in and already grunting when I move. Next time (God willing) I am pregnant, I’m not going to stop strength training. As much as it hurts, it feels good to be back on the exercise wagon again.
Dear Garbage Disposal, I don’t appreciate you craping out on us this week. I can think of lots of other FUN things I’d rather spend D’s hard earned money on right now. Ugh.
Dear The Bachelor, I can’t wait to watch you on Monday night. Sean was my favorite throughout the entire last season. I’m hoping he finds a beautiful, down to earth girl at the end. If you’re a fan of Sean, you have to check out his sister’s blog, Mix and Match Family. She has a beautiful family and talks a lot about her brother.
Dear Nordstrom, I’m extremely disappointed you didn’t have the sandals I wanted when we made the drive out to you this week. I had my Christmas gift cards ready and was looking forward to this all week. Boo.
Dear Weekend, I’m glad you’re here. We have a busy weekend planned. From coffee with my old teaching partner to Grandma’s birthday lunch to dinner with friends to a soccer game for D. I think you’ll be a great one.
