Today, I’m going to share with you the tutorials and sites I’ve used to create my blog design.
My favorite one on the internet is Ribbet, another popular one is Pic Monkey.
I came across this Pinterest board with lots of great tutorials pinned.
*A Photobucket (or Flickr) account is a must. You can upload your images to your account and it will give you HTML codes for you to insert into blogger. This is how you can get images on your blog.
*If you want readers to be able to click on images or text and take them to somewhere else on your blog, you’re going to have to IMAGE MAP. Here is a tutorial for creating social media buttons using image mapping. It looks hard but is really simple.
*Something Swanky has the best tutorial for making a header with links. This is my GO TO tutorial. Every time I recreate my blog look, I keep this page open on my browser.
*If you want to make a blog button, I used this tutorial in the past for buttons and it’s worked for me.
*Also, a lot of bloggers have the Pin It image that will come up when you hover over pictures on their site. Here is the tutorial I used to get that on my Simply Made with Love site. This makes it easy for readers to instantly pin your pics to Pinterest.
Again, this will take some time. But once you get the hang of it, you’ll be able to change your blog look whenever you want and it will save you lots of money in the long run!
