I hope you all had a fabulous weekend.
Ours was filled with friends and family.
A perfect combination in my book.
After my little breather, I picked up BBQ take out and we caught up on our shows.
We started watching this new one, The Bridge.
It’s on FX on Wednesday.
It’s about two detectives trying to find a serial killer.
If you liked The Following, you’ll like this show.
Saturday started out perfect.
Since hubs was gone this week, I made sure to make a pedicure appt for myself first thing Saturday.
I was well over due and definitely deserved some me time.
I picked up my Starbucks on the way and enjoyed every minute of it.
I came home, fed the bebe and then we all headed out to the local farmer’s market.
It’s held at the outdoor mall by our house on the first and third Saturday of the month.
It’s where I buy most of the food I use to make AG’s purees.
You can’t beat locally grown and cheap!
I tried to take a picture before we left…
Of course, I did a little shopping while we were there.
I had Gymbucks that were burning a hole in my diaper bag.
I picked AG up lots of things for next summer, they didn’t have much in her size left.
I also found the necklace I have on below at Francesca’s.
Later on, my parents came over to spend time with AG so I could get some work done.
They also stayed for dinner.
We had pizza and wings (which is all I could eat).
The boys also picked up this Sam Adams Beers of Summer variety pack.
I’m not a beer fan…at all. But I tried the Blueberry Hill Lager and it was actually really good!
Sunday I attended a baby shower for one of my best girls.
Brittany is expecting identical twin boys by October.
Her shower was absolutely perfect and totally “her”.
From the decor to the favors, her sister nailed it.
I loved seeing all the sweet itty bitty newborn clothes and catching up with friends.
We talked about our kids pretty much the whole time. Three of us have littles that are pretty close together and we don’t get to see each other too often. I love how events like these bring us all together. True friends are such a blessing.
This is the gift I gave her.
I just love her and can’t wait to see her with her littles.
Is she not the cutest mama to be… ever?!?0 Did you like this post?
