It’s been a long week around these parts.
Thankfully our relocation package included packing along with the move.
But it was hard to keep the little one contained and entertained for two days.
She took all her naps in the car, we went for lots of walks and spent the remainder of our time chasing her around. When it was all said and done, we were exhausted. Hubs owes me big time!
It was also sad to say goodbye to our first house.
The first one we bought together and moved into the week before we got married, the one we brought our baby home to and celebrated her first birthday in. I hope the new owners love it as much as we have over the past three years.
Something I’m looking forward to is reorganizing all of my things.
That is one good part about moving.
I told hubs that I wish we could have had someone come organize and pack us.
That would be a dream.
Since we didn’t pack our things, we didn’t go through anything beforehand.
So we will be doing lots of purging when we unpack.
I’ve also been going through my organizing board on pinterest to get ideas of things I want to do. This is one of the things on my looong list.
I am beyond ready for cooler weather and fall outfits.
Leggings, oversized tops and scarves…
if I could live in an outfit all year that would be it!
I’m hoping TX cools off quicker than FL does.
I cannot wait to decorate when we get into our new place.
If it were up to me, I would unpack my decorations before anything else.
I MAY have packed pumpkin candles, soap and wall flowers in my parents car so I didn’t have to wait to unpack them from the movers.
Annnddd…I have a mantel to decorate for the first time ever!
This is my thought process on the move and our new adventures in TX.
Don’t forget to come back on Monday for Mommy & Me!
