Well, hello Friday.
This Friday means we are one week away from being together as a family again.
The countdown is on.
Things are beginning to happen around here and the reality of the move is setting in.
Unfortunately, I haven’t done ONE thing to prepare for our move.
I haven’t packed anything, prepared for flying with a toddler, made a list of things to do, to pack, to bring, nothing!
I’ve been up every night until 1 am finishing orders to ship before we leave.
I hope I will have everything finished by the weekend so I can have a day or two to get things in order before the movers get here.
Ahhh….just the thought of everything makes my head spin.
Right now I’m surviving on Pumpkin Spice Lattes.
My motto is one day at a time.
Now, onto Five on Friday!
My sweet girl has been a dream this week.
Actually the last two weeks daddy has been gone.
She’s gone to bed on time, slept 12 hours and has napped for at least an hour twice a day.
The best part is she has been so happy.
She is a blast spend my days with.
Yesterday, we took a trip to the park and then came home for fruit pops and water table time.
I love this little lady so much.
My mom stayed with AG so I could get a little break out of the house this week.
I took a trip to Barnes and Noble with my computer and planner in hand.
Of course, I made sure to grab a PSL while I was there.
I had just over an hour and lots of things I wanted to get done.
Blog posts, reading blogs, email checked, accounting for August….. big plans.
The only thing I actually accomplished was getting caught up on emails.
I need more time in the day!
After not falling in love with a house in TX during our two day home search, we decided to rent.
It wasn’t what either of us wanted to do but looking back, I’m glad we made that decision.
After all we’ve gone through selling our house here, I don’t want to do it again any time soon.
The renting process definitely wasn’t what we thought it would be.
Houses go FAST, especially nice houses.
Hubs had spend his nights in TX looking at houses and we finally found one that I fell in love with from the listing and he loved in person.
If it would have been for sale when we were looking, we would have definitely made an offer.
After many days of waiting and handing over everything short of my first born, we have a place to live.
The best part is definitely is this view.
I’m looking forward to many nights and mornings out on this patio.
It’s the first thing I’ve looked forward to with this move.
I made these fruity pebble treats recently and they are amazing.
If you enjoy fruity pebbles, definitely try these.
Or buy yours today for just $5 using code 100DAYS3OFF.
Happy Weekend Friends!
