It’s Friday, which around here means it’s time for my top 5 from the week!

AG and I went to a playdate at our local outdoor mall this week. It was right before the cold weather was due to arrive. I knew we would be cooped up inside for a day or two, so this outdoor playdate was needed. She absolutely loved the play area at the mall. I mean, look at this face. If that doesn’t scream PURE JOY, I don’t know what does!

Starbucks is having their holiday drink BOGO right now. I went yesterday and picked up a gingerbread latte and caramel brûlée latte. I enjoyed one yesterday afternoon during nap time and plan on enjoying the other this morning, right after the little goes down. I just can’t really ENJOY my coffee while she’s awake. I’m chasing her all over the house and if I sit to drink it…who am I kidding, I never sit to do anything while she’s awake. Needless to say, if I do make coffee in the morning while she’s up it ends up in the microwave multiple times.
Also, have you tried the caramel brûlée? It’s my new favorite. I still love the gingerbread latte but I’m not a fan of the molasses they’re adding this year, so I get mine without.

My 30th birthday is a week from today. I had honestly forgotten it was so close until I received a gift in the mail yesterday. When it arrived, I thought what a sweet thinking of you gift. Then I read the card and realized it was a birthday gift. The thought hadn’t even crossed my mind. I feel great about 30. I’m looking forward to my mom getting here next week and a special date night out with hubs to celebrate.

TARGET DOES IT AGAIN!
I could live in Target during the holidays. It’s heavenly. I could walk around for hours, just oohing an awing over all the festive goodies they have. This week I finally found the Elf diapers I have been searching for. I also picked up this cute little mug for myself. Hubs made me get rid of one in order to keep it, but it was well worth the exchange. Also, it was only $3.99!

Last weekend we had our Christmas picture mini session. It was a last minute thing, so we were out shopping for what to wear the night before. The only thing I already had was AG’s outfit. Not necessarily for pics, but I knew it would be a cute holiday look. Her top was from Old Navy, black skinny jeans and gold shoes from Target. I wanted hubs and I to coordinate with her without being too matchy matchy. Thankfully it all came together and the weather cooperated for the pictures. I was really happy with our photographer and can’t wait to see the rest of the pictures.
Happy Weekend! Don’t forget to come back on Monday for Mommy & Me!
