Happy Friday! This is a week that I am happy to see go. After being cooped up inside pretty much all week due to sickness, AG and I are FINALLY on the mend. I have a list of errands to run today and birthday gift cards to spend. First stop will of course be Starbucks! Hello Gingerbread latte (with NO molasses!)
Now, it’s that time again, time for 5 on Friday.
AG had a check up this morning for her Broncolitis that she was diagnosed with earlier this week. Thankfully the DR’s office has lots of fun toys for her to play with while she waits. Her favorite toy there is this little play set. Lately, she’s been reaching for my hand when she needs help doing something or when she wants me to come here. It’s one of the sweetest things. Melts my heart every. single. time. This little girl is my heart.
I finally started working on my Christmas craft list this week.
I bought these joy letters a few months back with this idea in mind. Thanks to a long nap this week, I had a few extra minutes to make it. It’s pretty easy. I just hot glued the ribbon to the back of the letters. Made a bow for the hop and hung it up. It honestly took 10 minutes!
I picked up one of these felt trees from Target this week after seeing it all over IG. I was going to make her one but this was $10 worth spending! I knew AG would love it. She’s still a little young for it. I only put up the bigger felt pieces and make sure to have an eye on here while she’s playing with it. It took a few minutes but she got the hang of it. She loves taking the pieces off the tree. Putting them back on is a different story. She’d rather bring them to me and let me do it!
One of my bests sent me wine for my birthday, which arrived this week. One bottle for each decade of my life. How sweet is that?!? Thanks B, love you! And plan on enjoying the wine this weekend!
brrrr!!!! This FL girl is not used to this COLD weather! I went to the store yesterday and bought tons of food for the weekend. This weather makes me want to stay inside, bake cookies, drink hot chocolate and snuggle under the blankets watching Christmas movies. Which is what I plan on doing all weekend long!
I hope you all have a wonderful weekend!
