February is in full swing around here.
We’ve had some of our coldest weather this week and unfortunately, we haven’t seen the last of it.
I have a feeling the next few days will be spent at home, in our pajamas with lots of movies and hot chocolate. No complaints here. But I think we’re all ready for spring to arrive.
It’s that time of the week.
Linking up with some fabulous ladies for Five on Friday:
Snow Day #2. It snowed again in Texas yesterday.
Hubs came home from Crossfit and told me to look out the window.
I was shocked, there was no mention of it on the 10:00 news last night.
Of course, I immediately ran downstairs to go see.
It wasn’t the wet snow I remember from living in CT.
It actually reminded me of Dippin Dots ice cream.
We took AG out when she woke up but she wanted no part of it.
We do have her reaction on video and I did bring out my good camera to capture the moment.
Pink and gold….perfection in my book!
My child is definitely a girly girl.
Lately, when I’ve been getting ready she’s been going through my jewelry box.
This week she started putting on my necklaces.
She puts them on, then walks over to the mirror to admire her new accessories.
Of course, this is after she’s made a mess in the rest of the room.
Whatever works so I can get ready.
Really though, it’s amazing the mess that can be made in 10 minutes.
I finally bought my first pair of Sperry Top Sliders.
I saw these at Nordstrom and knew they would be perfect for spring and summer.
I had to make them mine.
Thankfully I had a return from Christmas and I was able to do so.
They should be arriving any day.
This past month has been rough.
AG has been sick pretty much every week.
We’ve been cooped up at home, missing lots of playdates with our friends.
Thankfully, she is finally on the mend.
This week we’ve been to the gym twice.
We’ve left the house four times, things are looking up.
To top it off, nana is here for the next five days.
I can’t think of a better way to kick off our weekend!
