Thank goodness this day is finally here.
This week has been a doozie.
I was hoping my morning sickness would be gone this week….didn’t happen!
And the mini decided she was going to throw tantrums all week long.
It was a BLAST!
I’m ready for the weekend.
The mini has been loving Disney movies lately. Frozen and Little Mermaid are her top two. Usually we don’t watch a lot of TV but since I’ve been pregnant, she’s watched more than I care to admit. There isn’t much else for her to do when I can barely move from the couch, which was the story of my life until week 12. She has quite the set up, doesn’t she? Her puppy, babies, bobo (dog #2) and a snack of course. Whatever works and gives me a few minutes of quiet time. The longest this usually lasts is 10 minutes!
Easter is right around the corner. This year we’re not going back to FL but my in-laws will be here visiting. I’m sure we will have a small dinner. Of course, I’ve already started pinning and researching recipes. I made these peep brownies last year and may have to make them again this year. They were so much fun to make and pretty darn cute!
I mentioned toddler tantrums above. Oh my goodness. I did not know who my child was this week. It was rough. No rhyme or reason behind it, just fits. All day long. “AG do you want some milk?” No response, just threw herself screaming on the floor. Then two minutes later was completely fine. Give her pretzels when she wants goldfish…..watch out. Oy vey, I know this is the beginning and I’m really missing my wine right now!
I’ve been eyeing this phone case from Rifle Paper Co. for a while now. I was thinking about ordering it for my Easter basket but I think we’re just going to do a basket for the mini this year. I may treat myself to it for mother’s day. I think it would match everything and would be perfect for summer!
Hubs and I have never been good budgeters. We’ve attempted to budget multiple times a year over the last 4 years but have never stuck to it. There are a lot of changes happening around her this year. The biggest is obviously baby #2. The other is our lease is up at the end of the year and we will be making some big decisions on where we will move. Our goal this year is to save, save, save. We’ve already started with one of Dave Ramsey’s plans. We analyzed our spending and have come up with a budget to stick to. Now, we are looking for a way to track that. Do any of you know of a good app to use to track spending. I’ve heard great things about mint.com but hubs is hesitant because you give your bank info. We’re looking for an app that we can both use on our phones. Also, if you use a budget, what are some of your keys to sticking to it?
Happy Friday Friends! We have a busy weekend ahead and are looking forward to it. AG will be going on her first Easter egg hunt and then we will be either going to the zoo or sea world as a family on Sunday. Hopefully the mini will cooperate!0 Did you like this post?
