This past week has been very eventful in the baby department. On Wednesday, it was confirmed that this little one is definitely a boy. We were told at 13 weeks that he was indeed a boy. We weren’t given any percentages of how sure the ultrasound tech was. We also didn’t ask. Hubs immediately said he wasn’t going to believe it until it was confirmed at 20 weeks. We didn’t buy anything. We did tell some friends what the prediction was along with our parents. So baby boy did receive a few gifts from over excited nana and papa along with his uncle Josh and Aunt Jen. As for names, we’ve had his picked out since our first pregnancy. If this little one was a girl, her name would have been Olivia Kate. Now that we know what we’re having all the fun planning starts. Thankfully one of my best friends gave me a HUGE box of clothes that her twin boys have grown out of. They were born on the same day L is due so the sizing works out perfectly. All of the clothes are absolutely adorable, I am so grateful to her for passing it along to us. Hubs and I started making lists of what we need and what we need to do over the next four months. It’s crazy how much you forget in almost two years! One of my goals this week is to work on a before baby #2 bucket list for AG and I along with some new getting ready for baby posts.
Any advice on how to prepare for baby #2?
Gender: IT’S A BOY! : Baby boy parties all night.
Sleep: Rough this week. My dreams have been insane. I think I’ve saved the world a time or two, may have flown with dinosaurs another…the craziness goes on and on! I also cannot get comfortable. I’m tossing and turning all night long.
Cravings: This week it was a cheese burger.
Aversions: None this week.
Symptoms: Back pain is still pretty bad some days. I’ve been trying to take it easier at the gym, hoping that will help. I’ve had a little more swelling lately, thankfully at this point my shoes and rings still fit. For now.
What I Miss: Going to the store and not worrying about where the closest bathroom is.What I’m Looking Forward To: Shopping, planning and everything else that I get to do knowing know what our little one is.
Best Moment This Week: Finding out that our baby is healthy and everything looks good.
