We are at the one month point before baby boy arrives! I had my first Dr appointment this week in FL and everything is going well. My c-section is officially scheduled for October 1st, first thing in the morning. I am so excited yet nervous at the same time. We’re supposed to close on our house the day before and I have yet to get anything ready for Luke’s arrival (ie. all of our baby things are still in boxes.)
There is so much I have to do for the house, for AG and for Luke. Add on a bunch of work orders to finish in two weeks to that list and you have one very overwhelmed mama. My goal right now is to take things one day at a time. Get a few things crossed off each list everyday and go from there. The one thing I can say is that the end of this pregnancy is not dragging thanks to the chaos going on around me. Now lets just hope he keeps cooking for the next 4 weeks!
Week 35
Size: Coconut
Gender: IT’S A BOY!Movement: Consistent big movements. Not as much of a soccer player as before, I assume it’s because he’s running out of room.
Sleep: Pretty darn good! Honestly, no complaints in this department and it’s about time!
Cravings: Anything cold.
Aversions: Fish.
Symptoms: Still more swollen than in the previous weeks. Back pain has been rough the past week. I’ve been working a lot, which involves standing for hours at a time. I’m trying to take more breaks in-between to alleviate some of the pain.
Exercise: One of the things I miss about TX is going to the gym. I didn’t want to sign up for one here when we’ll only be at my parents for a month. I figured it would be another big adjustment for AG and she has enough changes going on right now. I do get out 3-4 mornings a week and walk with her. I can usually get a mile and a half in before I end up running home to go to the bathroom! I try to do extra arms and legs on those days as well. I’m still way more active than I was with AG so I’m happy with my progress.
What I Miss: Nothing right now. I’m so excited to see his sweet face in just under 4 weeks!
What I’m Looking Forward To: Getting some things crossed of our before baby list this weekend. I honestly have NOTHING ready for Mr. Luke!
Ah you are so close! Take a breath and ask for help my friend! You are super-mama, I have no doubt you will find a way to get everything done…just make sure you rest and relax! 🙂
Looking good! Don't stress – it will all work out. Baby Luke will be well taken care of whenever he arrives, I just know it.
