Oh happy day! I am beyond excited to share the new blog design and name with you all today. One of my goals in 2015 was to streamline my businesses. At the end of the day, I was struggling to manage everything on my plate. I felt like I was putting subpar work into all areas and doing things just to get them done. I decided that the perfect ways to streamline things was a new website. I wanted everything to be accessible on one website. I wanted it to have a clean look, easy accessibility and also be a bit more professional. After a branding meeting with Ashlee Proffitt last month, Leah with Love was born.
One big component of this change was moving from Blogger to WordPress. I weighed all of my options and decided this move was better to happen now than later. I spend a lot of time talking with my friend Emily, who just made the move as well. She also shared her developer who migrated her blog with me. She and I both chose Anita, the Cre8tive Diva. Let me just say, Anita has been a saving grace. Before the process even started, she answered every question I had. She was patient with me and made sure I understood the entire process. From there, she worked with me to design the site and the store. my biggest fear was that I would lose things with the migration, which didn’t happen. I love WordPress already and look forward to learning more as I go.
If you’re thinking of making the big move, Anita is offering a special for Leah with Love readers. Go here and enter the password leahwithlove212.
You’ll also notice the shop is new as well. While all the products aren’t uploaded yet, I’m making progress each day. I’m looking forward to offering my customers a easier ordering and checkout process. Keep an eye out over the next few days over on IG (leah.herring,) I’ll be celebrating this relaunch with a few fabulous giveaways!
