The weather is warming up here in Florida. By the end of the week we're supposed to see temperatures in the 90's. When the weather is warmer, I'm always on the lookout for fun iced drinks. I usually go for iced coffee in the morning and afternoon, but since I'm nursing and staying away from dairy, that's not a great option these days. Last summer while I was pregnant, I fell in love with passion tea lemonade from Starbucks. When I was in Target last week, I came across Iced Passion Tea by Tazo. I picked up a box, along with some lemonade and decided to try to make my own version of Starbuck's ... read more

Journey to Parenthood- Vanessa’s Story
I am so happy to start back up with the Journey to Parenthood series. I had great intentions of starting it back up when we moved back to Florida in the fall, but work picked up and life happened. Now that Luke is getting older and sleeping better, I've had a little more time to focus on the blog. This series was top of my list of things I wanted to put my time back into. Today, my sweet friend Vanessa is sharing her journey with you all. Vanessa and I both had girls just over a month apart and have been virtual friends since they were born. We both became pregnant together around the same ... read more
21 Day Fix- it worked for me
Last month, I shared my results using the 21 day fix. After the holidays had come and gone, I realized I needed some help to get back to good eating habits and also lose some of the baby weight I was still carrying around. My number one focus when researching programs was finding one that I could do while nursing. Breastfeeding is one of my jobs for Luke's first year. It's something I'm committed to make work and I will not do anything to impact. I had seen a lot about Beachbody and the 21 day fix all over Instagram. You can find details of the program here. It looked like an easy ... read more

50 Easter Basket Ideas
Now that St. Patrick's Day has passed, my mind is on all things Easter. Truth be told, I've been picking up things here and there for the past month for fillers for the littles Easter basket. The Target dollar spot has definitely been my go to for goodies for AG. They don't have as great of a selection for babies, but I think Luke will be happy with a bunch of teethers. For AG's basket this year, I've decided to go with a gardening theme. She's been obsessed with going outside and watering the flowers lately. I know she'll love to have her own rain boots, shovel, gardening gloves, a bug ... read more
{Clean Eating} Chicken Sausage Skillet
Today, I'm sharing one of our go to spring and summer meals. It's a clean eating recipe that can me made in less than a half hour, using just two pans and a cutting board. Perfect for busy families who still want to put a healthy dinner on the table. I make this once a week and usually switch up the vegetables based on what is in the fridge. Enjoy! ... read more
{Mommy School} Green Week
St. Patrick's Day is almost here. Since I've been slacking with Mommy School lately, I figured this is the perfect week to get back in the groove. We've been working with AG a lot on her colors at home. Before her bath every night, we make a game of it with the balls in her ball pit. We'll have her search for a specific color ball and ask her to bring us a specific number of them. She's getting pretty good at it. She has most of her colors down but still gets confused with a few. Over the next few weeks, I am planning color themed weeks. I'll focus as much of what we do on a particular color, ... read more
{Friday Favorites} Pinterest edition
Friday is finally here, there were many times this week I wasn't sure if this day would ever come. After being gone at my SIL's wedding last weekend plus the time change, we've all been in catch up mode this week. I've been working 6+ hours a day finishing up Easter orders and some of our bags aren't even unpacked. My goal to day is to get everything unpacked, put away and the house cleaned. I always try to do most of my cleaning on Friday afternoon. I love going into the weekend with a clean house. This weekend is going to be filled with house projects. There has been a handful of projects ... read more
