Let’s get straight to my picks for today…
I’ve head the blogging community rave about this book, The Life Changing Magic of Tidying Up. When I read a lot of the posts about it, I became interested. After reading a tad about the book, I bought it. I started reading it and then stopped. What I read I liked, but I stopped making time to read. Now that we’re in the last stretch of 2015, I’ve been thinking about things I want to set in place before the new year starts. I guess you can call it end of the year goals. I’m hoping that I can get a jump start on many of these goals and start the new year off on the right foot. With that said, the first step of those goals is to finish this book! I”m ready to start purging and even more than that, I’m ready to not feel like I’m drowning in my own house because there is just not enough time in the day to keep everything clean and organized!
I’ve already started to think about Christmas and Christmas cards! I may have even already picked out our cards this year from Tiny Prints. While on Pinterest the other night, I cam across this nifty lettermate tool from The Grommet. I used a ruler last year but this would definitely make addressing envelops much easier!
I’ve been eying this medallion top from Loft for weeks now. The past few days it was 50% off and I totally forgot to checkout last night before the sale ended. I’m so bummed and of course now it’s sold out. Looks like a trip to the mall may be in order this weekend, if they have it in my size in the store, it’s meant to be! Bath and Body works also has all of their candles buy one get one free this weekend ALONG WITH an extra 25%, which brings the candles to under $10 each. I’ll be stocking up on my favorite, sweater weather and looking for some new winter scents.
Don’t forget to check out the fun and festive things you can do with Pillsbury crescent rolls! This weekend we’ll be making pumpkin shaped pizza!
Most afternoons, about an hour or two before dinner the kids usually lose it. I mean fit after fit, don’t want to share toys, both only want mama to hold them.
This pumpkin bundt cake is on my list to make this weekend. I posted a picture on IG (@leah.herring) with my stockpile of pumpkin puree. I heard there would be a shortage this year again and I wasn’t going to let that happen in our home. So, I’ve stocked up and I’m ready to bake away!
Happy Weekend Friends! Ours will be filled with football, a pumpkin patch and an afternoon with friends. Add gorgeous weather to that list and I can’t think of a better weekend! Is it 5 o’clock yet?0 Did you like this post?
