The first week of November is quickly coming to an end. My week started out really productive, I planned my month out, started working on my to do lists, crossed lots of orders off my list and stayed on top of all things house related (laundry, cleaning, etc.)
I’m not going to lie, I felt like a rockstar come Wednesday night. I even cooked all week. Cooked meals AND a clean house never happen at the same time. Never. But, lately I’ve been making more an an effort to put my time and energy into things that need to be done instead of things that are a waste of time, like social media 😉 Anyhow, I’ve been go go go all week and it finally caught up with me. Yesterday, I fell asleep while L napped and woke up with stickers all over my legs thanks to one silly three year old. By 9pm last night, I was ready for bed. That, I’ll blame on good old daylight savings, since L has been up at 5 every morning this week! But, he’s been sleeping through the night, so I’ll take it.
This past week, I read that Costco had Hunter boots for $80! I’ve been eying them for so long, I just could not let this deal slip away. THEN I read that Nordstrom was price matching the boots. All I had to do was go online to Nordstrom, click the LIVE CHAT button and make sure Costco had my size and color choice in stock. Since they did, I was able to get these babies for $85 and change, remember Nordstrom offers free shipping for card holders! They arrived in just two days and I cannot wait to wear them.
On Wednesday night, I went to dinner with two of my best friends. Girl talk, adult beverages and a quiet drive to and from were just what I needed. Couldn’t love these two mamas more and am so grateful to have them in my corner.
One thing I’m completely over is this Florida weather. Over It! The highs have been in the 90’s all week. I’m still in shorts and flip flops and even ended up with tan lines after my run on Monday. Last week when I hosted a Halloween playdate at 4pm I had to get out the sunscreen because it was so hot. Thankfully it looks like there is a cold front coming next week. Bring. It. On.
One thing on my list this past week was starting to plan Thanksgiving. We’ll be going to my parents for dinner that day, but I’ll still be planning the menu. The first step to planning was to take a look at my Pinterest board. Here are some things I’ve been pinning.0 Did you like this post?
