Mother’s Day is right around the corner. If you don’t have it written down, it’s Sunday, May 8th if. If you’re in search of gifts for your mom or yourself, I have just the post for you today.
I’m sure if you asked most moms what they REALLY want for Mother’s Day, you’ll hear things like a manicure or pedicure, a relaxing massage, a cook for a week, a cleaning lady, a day off or even to just a trip to Target or a lunch at Panera alone. When you have littles at home and hear “MOM” a million times a day, a little break is much needed every now and then. And don’t get me wrong, there is nothing I’d rather hear than mom day in and out. But, in order to be the best for our littles, we also have to take care of ourselves, which sometimes isn’t our number one priority.
If I had to choose any of the above, I would definitely choose a cook for a week. Home cooked meals, without having to be in the kitchen….sign me up!
Now, if you’re in search of some gift ideas, I have some of my favorites for you below. Every mom (or really woman) needs a nice purse, wallet, some good makeup, a fresh perfume, a scented candle for those little moments of relaxation and some meaningful pieces of jewelry. Wouldn’t you agree?
If you had to pick, which of these gifts would you like to receive for Mother’s Day?
Last year hubs gave me aviators, which I absolutely love. They’re probably one of my most used gifts, as I wear them everyday. It’s also the longest I’ve gone without losing a pair of sunglasses. Knock on wood! They’re actually on sale right now at Nordstrom, now is the time to get them if you’ve been eying them! I also wouldn’t mind anything from my spring lust list, especially that wallet. All. the. heart. eyes.
