I cannot believe today is the last day of September. This past month flew by, just as I expected. While the weather is still screaming summer here in Florida, the fall is officially here along with all things pumpkin. I'm trying to soak up all of the things I love about this time of year, even though life has been pretty crazy lately. Tomorrow my little man turns TWO years old! Which reminds me I need to work on his birthday letter along with AG's letter from almost two months ago. Mom fail! Today, I want to share some of my favorite fall things for the kids. AG is already following in her ... read more

Pumpkin Oatmeal Chocolate Chip Cookies
Happy second day of fall friends! I'm that girl who becomes giddy when the first pumpkin spice products hit the aisles come the beginning of September. I go overboard with the pumpkin candles, soap, treats, body wash, hand sanitizer and more. I love it. I look forward to it. It's my FAVORITE time of the year. Something else that comes along with the pumpkin spice products is the baking in my house. I love it. This past weekend, AG asked to make cookies. That is one thing I'll NEVER say no to, so I decided to celebrate fall starting with pumpkin cookies. Over the years, I've made tons of ... read more
Paw Patrol Birthday Party
A few weeks ago we celebrated L's upcoming 2nd birthday and AG turning 4. I'm still in disbelief that they are growing so fast. When thinking about their parties this year, I decided to do a joint party. Their birthdays are only 6 weeks apart, they have a lot of the same friends and I figured this is one of the last years AG won't be picky on her theme or who is invited. So I picked a date in the middle of both birthdays and searched for a location that would be fun for kids of all ages. I settled on a bounce house/ play area that is about 20 minutes from our house. I loved the idea of one ... read more
Preschool Quiet Boxes
When I was working from home, it was tough to get a lot of work done with both kids up. I quickly learned I needed to maximize my time and just chalk up a loss for the hours I had both kids. So, I figured out my best working times. The absolute best was the mornings before both kids woke up. The kids wake between 6 and 7, so I make sure I'm up at 5 each day. This usually gives me an hour or more of time to myself. The second big working time for me was during L's nap. AG is old enough to do activities on her own which allowed me to get things done. In the beginning, I would just have her color ... read more
Date Night Fun with Groupon
This is a sponsored post, all options are my own. Date nights these days are something I really look forward to. There is just something about getting out of the house alone with hubs. No fussing and shoveling snacks to the back seat in hopes of a quiet ride. No potty pit stops or changing music because "I don't like that song." I'm sure many parents can relate. I love my kids more than anything but sometimes it's nice to be able to step away from the mom and dad roles for a few hours, getting a deserved little break. We're lucky to have family close by so we can enjoy these nights pretty ... read more
Crock Pot Tailgate Snack Mix
Football season is officially here. This past weekend, we headed to our first USF football game. We've had season tickets for the past 10 years, it's something we look forward to all year long. The only thing missing around here is the cooler tailgate weather! Before kids, I would go all out for tailgates. Dips, bites, sweets...you name it. I'd spend Saturday morning planning what I'm going to bring, then I'd head to the store to do some shopping. After that, home to cook and get ready for the game. These days I don't have as much time to get tailgate ready. Saturdays with kids looks much ... read more
Friday Favorites- Pumpkin Edition
Happy first Friday of September friends! Yesterday, I talked about how I was beyond ready for a new month, a fresh start. Day one didn't disappoint. Thanks to Hurricane Hermine, we were off school. Since it was a Thursday, I kept our sitter and decided to use that time to get some things done. Before she arrived, we made a trip to DD for donuts and coffee. The kids stayed in their pajamas and we watched a movie. I even got in a quick workout and showered....all before 10am! Throughout the day, I was able to check so many things off my to do lists as I listened to the kids squeal with happiness ... read more

September is here, September is here! I'm shouting it from the rooftops and jumping with joy. This past week some of the holiday decor has come out at Target, I've already stocked up on everything pumpkin spice I could get my hands on and have been enjoying Dunkin Donuts pumpkin coffee all week. To top it off football starts this weekend. My most favorite time of the year is here. If I'm being honest, this past month was one of the toughest I've had in a long time. When I went back to work, things happened quickly. Really quick. A week after I started, Luke got really sick. He had a 103 temp ... read more
