If I could give a title to this week it would be “man down!” A nasty virus hit the house early this week, taking out both littles. From the way I feel at the moment, it looks like I’m going to be the next victim. I’m grateful that this happened after my big testing weeks at work and have been able to use time to snuggle my sicklings. Praying they’re both back to their usual wild and crazy ways next week!
Lets get to some favorites on this Friday…evening.
ONE
I’m definitely sleep deprived and have been running on Dunkin Donuts Coconut Creme Coffee. Have you had it? If you like coconut, it’s to die for.
TWO
I’ve had my eyes on these slip on Sperry sneakers for a few months. I love this rose color and the perforated detail. The reviews were great and they seemed perfect for Florida summers. My patience with ordering them paid off, two weeks ago I lucked out with a huge sale where I got these babies half off. They’re so comfortable and look just as cute on as they do in the picture. I have a feeling they’ll be my go to summer shoe. If your’e looking for a deal, you can find the grey pair on sale here.
THREE
Teacher appreciation is next week at our school. The PTA has planned ideas for each day with lots of fun things for the teachers. I have a little gifts for AG’s teachers lined up for the days she goes to school, I’ll be using this tag on a little plant I plan to pick up this weekend. Trader Joe’s had some fabulous succulents last month, I’m hoping they still have some.
FOUR
Loft has 40% off this weekend, I’m going to try my best not to step foot inside the store…but I do have a return to make. If I did grab just one thing, it would be this chambray off the shoulder top. It would be great with white jeans or pretty much any colored short. Okay, so maybe I hope they have it in the store…in my size. Just saying. Also, if you’re looking for a fun summer dress, you can’t go wrong with their swing dresses. So comfortable and can easily be dressed up or down.
FIVE
Beach days have begun for my littles. There is a small beach close to my parents house that is perfect for small kids. It’s usually not crowded at all, there is a park and lots of shells (AG’s favorite.) It’s the perfect way to spend a morning or afternoon during these summer months. We went for the first time last weekend, the water was a little cool but it didn’t stop the littles from going in. Last year LM stayed on the sand most of the time or was in our arms in the water. This year, he was all about the waves…although he wasn’t a fan of the salt water getting in his mouth after the big waves broke. I’m looking forward to soaking up the sun with my two this summer. Only 4 more weeks until break!
Happy weekend friends!
Hope you all feel better sweet friend – and yay for beach days x
